By sliding the blue blob at the bottom of the menu on the left of the screen you can change the opacity overlay to a modern background map under it.

Some time ago someone in the village produce a small leaflet with a number of local walks together with a simple map, it was available in the shop for 50 pence, I still have a copy. I have been trying to find out who this was for some time in order to gain permission to digitise it for the web site but to no avail. So I have digitised it anyway as I am sure the person concerned would only be to happy. If that person is you or you know who it is please contact me.
Some of the geography has changed since the original was produced, I have and will continue to update together with photographs, all contributions welcome.

New Editor Needed for Community Magazine
Unfortunately the current editor of the Grapevine has had to step down for health reasons. We have an intermim editor up to the November edition, but if the magazine is to survive into the new year someone needs to take on the role... is that you?
The magazine covers a variety of local interest topics, with relationships with the local schools, WI, YCA, churches etc. and is of immense value to our communities.
If you are interested in taking it on, please contact
